17 They will (A)lick the dust like a serpent,
Like (B)reptiles of the earth.
They will come (C)trembling out of their [a]fortresses;
To the Lord our God they will come in (D)dread
And they will be afraid before You.
18 Who is a God like You, who (E)pardons iniquity
And passes over the rebellious act of the (F)remnant of His [b]possession?
He does not (G)retain His anger forever,
Because He (H)delights in [c]unchanging love.
19 He will again have compassion on us;
(I)He will tread our iniquities under foot.
Yes, You will (J)cast all [d]their sins
Into the depths of the sea.
